The
AALPD is seeking feedback on the draft Quality Professional
Development Standards. By May 30, 2008, either enter your
feedback by visiting the Professional Development Area of
the ALE Wiki http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/AALPD_PD_Quality_Standards_Feedback
or by emailing it directly to Renee Sherman at rsherman@air.org.
The
AALPD will finalize the standards by June 30, 2008, after
which time they will go to the AALPD membership for an up
or down vote.
The Association of Adult Literacy
Professional Developmers is meeting at the COABE Conference
in St. Louis, Missoury, April 28-May1, 2008. For information
about COABE, go to www.coabe.org. AALPD's
8th Annual COABE PreConference agenda and information are
now available.
AALPD is currently seeking
AALPD members who are interested in participating on the
Executive Committee in any of the following roles (see the
Job
Descriptions for more information):
- PD Research Chair
- PD Resource Chair
- PD Registry Chair
- Executive Board Member-at-Large
