Policies to Support Professional Development for Adult Education
Professionals are sixteen policy statements that
support the participation of adult basic education, adult
ESOL, and adult secondary education practitioners (including
paraprofessionals and adult learner leaders who are staff
members) in professional development to help them be effective
in their roles. These recommended policies are the foundation
for AALPDs subsequent advocacy work and positions
on issues. AALPD Issues Papers are listed below; they are
updated periodically.
